Frequently asked questions about costs
What does an LLC incorporation cost in total?
The Hoop price is CHF 220.–. On top come the commercial register fee, notarisation by the partner notary, the bank’s capital deposit account and the signatures. Hoop shows you all items added up before you submit the incorporation – no surprises after registration.
What are volume packages?
If you handle several cases via Hoop, you buy a package of 5, 10, 25 or 50 incorporations or amendments. The price per case drops with every tier – in the largest package to CHF 80.– per sole proprietorship or amendment and CHF 140.– per LLC or Ltd. All tiers are visible in the Hoop app.
Are commercial register fees included in the price?
No. The commercial register fee is set by the federal fee ordinance, depends on the legal form and type of entry and is charged by the cantonal office. Hoop shows it before filing.
Do I need a notary?
For an LLC and a Ltd, yes – articles of association, deed of incorporation, amendments requiring notarisation and the dissolution resolution must be notarised. Hoop works with partner notaries who carry out the notarisation digitally – regardless of the notarial system in your canton. A sole proprietorship does not need notarisation.
What does it cost to make several amendments at once?
Amendments requiring notarisation (registered office, purpose, name, articles) can be combined. You then pay at most double the single price – i.e. a maximum of CHF 240.– for all combined amendments together, plus the commercial register fee and notarisation.
What does a liquidation cost?
Liquidating an LLC or Ltd via Hoop starts at CHF 360.–. On top come the notarisation of the dissolution resolution and the commercial register fees for dissolution and deletion. You see the exact price in the Hoop app before you start.
Is there a subscription or base fee?
No. Registration is free and you only pay per case. For document storage you need a DeepBox account, which is free for up to 3 users.
I am a fiduciary or lawyer – do different prices apply to me?
The same prices and packages: the more cases you handle for your clients via Hoop, the lower the price per case. Change of auditor and share transfers are handled on request by our team.
What do the share register and debt enforcement cost?
