Frequently asked questions about costs
Do I pay anything if nothing changes?
No. After the one-off opening, costs only arise when you record a new version, sign it or submit a filing.
Do I need a second product for the transparency register?
No. The share register and the beneficial owner register are kept in the same register. Only the filing to the federal register is charged, when you submit it.
When do I have to file for the first time?
The new act on the transparency of legal entities and the federal transparency register come into force on 1 October 2026. Practically all Swiss stock corporations and limited liability companies are affected; listed companies are exempt.
We look after many companies – is it worth it?
From a handful of mandates, yes: the multi-entity option costs CHF 90 per year for the whole organisation, for up to 300 legal entities. The CHF 72 opening fee still applies per legal entity.
