Your share register, kept digitally – including the report to the transparency register.
Since 1 October 2026, Swiss AGs and GmbHs must report their beneficial owners to the transparency register. With Hoop you keep your share register or register of members online, identify shareholders in a certified way and report directly from the register – set up in a few steps, at fixed prices shown before you submit.
How to set up your share register.
Take over your company from the commercial register
Open an account, search for your company – Hoop takes the master data directly from the commercial register. No re-entry.
Enter shareholders and beneficial owners
Enter the shareholders with their shares. Identification is certified via DeepID; the beneficial owners are recorded at the same time.
Approve, sign, report
The board of directors approves the new version and signs it with a qualified electronic signature. The report goes directly from the register to the transparency register.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a fiduciary or a lawyer?
No. Hoop guides you step by step and our support team answers questions about the process. Hoop does not replace legal or tax advice – if you need it, we are happy to recommend a specialist.
Does my GmbH have to keep a share register?
A GmbH keeps a register of members for its capital contributions. The duty to record beneficial owners and report them to the transparency register applies to AGs and GmbHs. Hoop covers both.
What is the difference between the share register and the transparency register?
The share register is kept by the company itself: it shows who holds which shares. The transparency register is the federal register to which the company reports its beneficial owners. With Hoop, the report goes directly from the share register, without re-entry.
Can I migrate my existing share register?
Yes. You enter the current shareholders and their shares once in Hoop; the company data is taken from the commercial register. From the first approved version onwards, everything continues digitally.
What does the share register cost with Hoop?
You pay once per register and then per new version and per transparency report – at a fixed price shown before you submit. You will find the rates on the Registers pricing page.
